Quake has been around for over 20 years, which means it's aged well, but it's also a game that has a lot of fans and strong roots in the community. I'm interested to find out how the rumors of a remastered version play out in the early days. The old Quake is still the most accurate version of the original, but the current build is available for free, and I'm curious to see how it compares to the original. It's been a long time since I covered Quake and I'm surprised by how quickly it became a favorite title of mine. I remember being introduced to it in the pre-internet days and I devoured it instantly. It's a game that I'm not sure I'd buy again, but I'd be happy to play it, if someone gave it to me.
