KONINGINNEDAG

Join us in Swarthmore to celebrate Koninginnedag! Bring the family - we will have games, crafts and a lot of fun! Get ready to sing the national anthem "Het Wilhelmus"! And as always we will have our wonderful rommelmarkt!! You are encouraged to bring donations since all proceeds helping to fund our event - Dutch books, household items, toys, etc. Please limit items to a total of five (including books and magazines) - although we appreciate your generosity, unsold items have really added up in the past and have to be removed by our volunteers. Please bring only your true unwanted "TREASURES!"

We also ask that you bring some "lekkere hapjes" for our food table - meatballs, chicken wings, Dutch cheese, dessert - whatever your specialty is and your schedule allows for! Beer, wine, soda and juices will be provided by the NAADV.

It's a good time for all ages - rain or shine! Wear your best orange - prizes awarded for best kids and adult outifts!

Location: Swarthmore Community Center -
715 Harvard Avenue, Swarthmore, PA 19081

When: Sunday, April 25th - 2:00pm

A flyer will be sent to the current membership via the mail.

[Koninginnedag is a Dutch national holiday. Celebrated in The Netherlands on April 30th, it's the nationwide celebration of the Dutch Queen's birthday. Flags are flown throughout the country with orange "wimpels" hanging on them to signify this royal occasion. Dutch city streets are taken over by organized games, fairs, flea markets and garage sales.]
